Inspired by women over time, like women of Minoan Crete, who she had great freedom in her private life.
The Minoan woman participated in events in public places, theaters and sanctuaries as an emancipated woman, while at the same time she was taking care of her appearance and being particularly elegant.
The equal appearance and action of men and women in religious events during that period, contains and conveys a message of equality between women and men.
The Minoan Woman is revealed by archaeological findings from the excavations of the Minoan sites of Crete and Santorini.
This artwork pays a tribute to the timeless simplicity, strength and value of women in society.
